Special Arrangements
For special arrangements, please contact us. We can ship Express Mail to APO/FPO locations, use other UPS services or use Airborne or FedEx if preferred.
We use United States Postal Service Priority Mail as our basic shipping service. For express service, we ship by UPS or other carriers with equivalent classes of service. We offer Second-Day and Next-Afternoon Air Express service to most areas within the United States of America. Outside the U.S.A. we ship by special arrangement only.
The shipping options can be selected in the order web page and the charge will be included in your order total. Please contact us if you need special arrangements or you are outside the continental United States of America. International orders are not charged an estimated shipping fee on the order. We will contact you to make arrangements. Please make sure your E-Mail address is correct in the order form.
Note About Express Services to Rural or Outlying Areas: CAUTION: If you live in a rural area or Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, faster express service choices may not be available from UPS. Q: How long will it take for me to receive my order by Priority Mail?
Priority Mail may take as little as 2-3 days to reach you but it is not a guaranteed service. In some parts of the country, a week is more likely and in a few cases, we have see it take up to two weeks. Transit time from our location in San Diego, California to East Coast destinations in major metropolitan areas is pretty reliably 3-5 days. If you live in less populated areas in the South, West or Midwest, it could take substantially more time. We use US Priority Mail for our basic service in preference to UPS Ground because we find that in most cases, the US Mail will be more efficient to reach your home and costs less too, however transit time is not guaranteed.
Q: I have a special occasion for which I need my order. Which shipping method should I choose?
If you have a special event coming up, please immediately call or E-Mail us. Provide your name, location and the date of your event. We will help you choose the best shipping option and confirm for you that the item is in stock and ready to ship. If you have already placed an order, immediately call or E-Mail us with your name, order number, location and date of your event.
Q: I am in the military overseas and express carriers do not ship here. What shipping option should I choose?
Select Priority Mail service on the shipping options pick list. If you need expedited shipment, please immediately call or E-Mail us with your name, location and date of your event. We will ship by Express Mail. We understand that all military APO and FPO addresses need to shipped by U.S. Postal Services.
Q: Do I have to be at home to receive an expedited shipment?
No, you do not have to be at home to receive an expedited shipment, however we do recommend to have the package shipped to your work place if possible.
Q: Are packages shipped or received on Saturdays?
Generally speaking, express carriers do not pick up or deliver on Saturday or Sunday. However, for an extra fee, Saturday delivery service is available. If you need this service, please call or E-Mail us.
Q. I live outside the United States. How will I know what the shipping costs will be?
We will e-mail you with the approximate shipping costs on your order and then you can decide what level of service you would prefer.
Q. Do you have a catalog which you can send to me?
Sorry, we do not have a print catalog. We are a small business and have only an online catalog.
Q. I have not received my package in 2 weeks. What should I do?
Call us at 858-538-8902 or E-Mail us with your name and/or order number. We will track your package for you.
